Activities

Students are awarded based on the authorized approval of the School’s Senior Officials (Principal or Guidance Counsellor) and not on any other competitive forum.  The Awards Program is held annually in New Providence as well as many of the Family Islands including Andros, Eleuthera, Long Island, Abaco and Grand Bahama.

This year the Foundation’s focus is on awarding more scholarships or rewards for these deserving Bahamian students.

Island news

In 2005, the name of the Awards Program was changed to reflect the ambitious goal of the Board to award the top students of the three levels of our school system i.e. Primary, Junior and Senior High.  The Bahamas Outstanding Students Foundation was the fitting chosen name and a program was launched to honour the overall top male and female students in grades 6, 9 and 12.
